Common questions
Sunglasses questions
Polarized or non-polarized for sport?
Polarized lenses cut glare from water, asphalt, and snow but can make it harder to read phone, GPS, and bike-computer screens. Cyclists and runners often pick non-polarized; anglers and water-sports athletes pick polarized. Each PDP lists polarization status.
What's lens VLT and why does it matter?
VLT (visible light transmission) describes how much light a lens lets through. Lower VLT (10 to 20 percent) is full sun; higher (40 to 60 percent) is overcast or low light. Photochromic lenses cover a range automatically. Match the lens to the light you actually train in.
Prescription options?
Some sport sunglasses accept clip-in optical inserts; full prescription lenses are also available through the brand's optical program. The catalog lists insert compatibility on each PDP, but final prescription work happens through a licensed optician, not Victory Theory.
