Size Guide

football fit.

Football jerseys are sized to fit over shoulder pads — order one size up from your standard apparel size if you're playing tackle. Helmets are circumference-fit; the right helmet shouldn't slide when you shake your head. Cleats run true to street size for most brands.

Jerseys (over pads)

Order one size up from your normal apparel for full-pad fit. For non-pad practice/casual, order true to size.

Fit notes

  • Helmets must be NOCSAE-certified for organized play. Recondition every 1–2 seasons; replace after 10 years regardless of condition.
  • Shoulder pads are sized by chest + position. Skill players use low-profile pads; linemen use full pads with epaulets.
  • Cleat studs: molded for hard fields and turf, detachable steel for soft/wet grass. Most leagues ban metal at youth level.
