Soccer jerseys come in two cuts: traditional (looser, recreational) and authentic/match (slim, performance). Cleats are surface-specific — the wrong stud type ruins both your foot and the field. Shin guards are length-based, sized to your height.

Most modern uppers are unisex. Wide-foot players: Adidas Copa Mundial fits widest; Nike Phantom runs narrowest.

Fit notes
- Authentic / match jerseys (often "Vapor" or "Heat.RDY") run a full size smaller than traditional — order one up if you're between.
- Goalkeeper gloves are sized 5–11 by hand-circumference inches (5–6 youth, 7–9 adult, 10–11 large hands). Add 1 if you prefer a looser fit.
- FIFA-approved shin guards have a sticker showing certification. Required for sanctioned matches.
