Size Guide

swimming fit.

Competition swimwear is sized by waist (men) or bust/waist (women) and is meant to fit tight — looseness creates drag. Tech suits should feel restrictive when dry; they relax slightly in water. Caps and goggles are mostly one-size-adjustable, but head shape matters.

Fit notes

  • Tech suits (race day): order the smallest size you can physically get into. Compression = speed.
  • Training suits: order true to size or one up — durability matters more than compression.
  • Polyester suits last 10× longer than chlorine-rated PBT/elastane blends. Use polyester for daily training, save the tech suit for meets.
  • Goggles: most are nose-piece adjustable. If they leak or hurt the bridge of your nose, swap the nose piece (most brands include 3 sizes in the box).
